Reenactors must carry their provost pass at all times, it will also be needed for the Saturday night dinner.
March 25 – Friday
» Reenactor Registration
»»Opens at 9:00 am – 11:00 pm (all camps closed to car traffic from 9-2 while school children are present.)
» Education Day
»»Hundreds of school children will be treated to various demonstrations of Civil War Era life.
» Officers Meeting – 9:00 pm at the events tent
March 26 – Saturday
» Reveille at 7:00 am
» Morning parade /Arms inspection – 8:00 am
» Battalion Drill – 8:30 am
» Break for Breakfast
» Reenactor Registration – 9:oo am – 5:00 pm
» Camps open to spectators – 9:oo am
» Ladies Social– 11:00 am
» Confederate Artillery Demonstration – 11:15 am
» Gullah – music, demonstrations, storytelling –throughout the day
» Medical Demonstrations – throughout the day
» Concerts by Stan Clardy throughout the weekend
» 97th Regimental String Band concerts:
Saturday at 1:00pm – 1:45pm
Sunday at 12:00pm – 12:45pm
» Tactical begins– 12:15 pm (for participants )
—Tactical will be unscripted (12:15 – 1:45 pm), developing into Spectator battle at 2:00 pm, ending at 2:45 pm
» Battle of Charleston (scripted) – 2:00 – 2:45 pm
» Pass and Review 2:45 pm
» Camps close to spectators – 5:30 pm
» Reenactor Dinner (bring your own plates, utensils) – 6:00 pm
» Period Ball (97th Regimental String Band) – 8:00 pm
» Taps – 11:00 pm, all quiet
March 27– Sunday
» Morning Parade/Arms inspection (no drill) – 9:00 am
» Camps open to spectators – 9:00 am
» Gullah – music, demonstrations, storytelling – throughout the day
» Medical Demonstrations – throughout the day
» Church service – 10:00 am
» Concerts by Stan Clardy throughout the weekend
» 97th Regimental String Band concert – 12:00 pm – 1:00 pm
» Battle of Charleston (scripted) – 2:00 pm – 2:45 pm
» Pass and Review –2:45 pm
» No vehicles in camp until 3:00 pm
