**Please note that child prices are applied to children below the age of 12. We ask that you not bring children on the tour under the age of 6, particularly toddlers. A 90 minute tour is a long time to expect a small child to sit quiet and comfortable. Our experience has found that an uncomfortable child, through no fault of its own, can disrupt the tour guide and distract others who are sharing the tour with you. In the past, we have asked families with unhappy children to leave the bus. We do not wish to cause anyone disrespect or embarrassment and ask you to comply with this policy.

Making Reservations

If you wish to make reservations for a particular tour, the best method from out of town is to use our toll free telephone number: 800-647-4487. When in the Charleston area call 763-1233. If you wish to contact us just for information, please call our toll free number or e-mail us at:

Please note that we will accept reservations by voice via telephone only. If you are calling from out of town, we ask you to verify your presence in Charleston upon arrival and prior to your tour time.

If you wish, we will be happy to pick you up at your downtown hotel one half hour prior to tour time and take you back at the end of the tour. If you wish to join us at the Visitors' Center, we ask you to check in with your tour guide at the bus about 15 minutes prior to tour time. We understand bad directions, poor traffic and parking conditions may delay your arrival, so we will honor your reservation until about 5 minutes prior to the tour. It you fail to inform us of late arrival, you may lose your reservation. We run a limited number of tours daily and often have people on standby in case of dishonored reservations. We do the best we can in this situation.


As an incentive for you we offer a special $2.00 discount when you join us at the Charleston Visitors' Center on Meeting Street between Ann & John Streets. We accept cash or travelers checks for payment at the end of the tour. If you wish to use a credit card for payment, you may do so inside the Visitors' Center at the main counter prior to the tour. You will be charged an extra $1.50 per ticket for their services. This surcharge applies to all touring companies.


Our office hours are usually from 8:00am -- 10:00pm daily. Our lovely office manager, Phyllis, will be happy to serve you when you call. If calling after or before office hours, please leave a message with phone number and we will return your call.
